Does anyone have examples of policies or guidelines for using a person – centered approach towards using Enabling Technologies?
I have been doing some research on how Enabling Technologies (i.e. remote sensors, smart assistive technology, etc.) is able to help a person with disabilities become more independent in their home. I feel strongly that a person-centered approach should be taken when developing a plan for what types of enabling technology is going to be used in a person’s home. Unfortunately, I have not been able to find any examples of policies or guidelines for developing this person-centered enabling technology plan. Please help!
