Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities/Learning Difficulties
Alexis has worked in the field of Developmental Disabilities since 2003. She is an independent Positive Behavior Consultant for adults with developmental disabilities in Eugene/Springfield, Oregon. Alexis facilitates the Boundaries Group, a skills and support group, and teaches Safe, Strong and Free, a sexual assault prevention course. She is the liaison to the Community Advocacy Council (CAC) at the University of Oregon’s University Center for Excellence in Developmental Disabilities (UCEDD). She also provides consulting for non-profit service agencies. Alexis draws on her years of experience as well as her background in facilitation, mediation, and life coaching to empower people to reach for their own solutions through innate creativity and motivation to live a good life.
