Trudy Marsh Grable is a long-time advocate in the field of disability issues, family support and services. The parent of a child with special needs for over 32 years, her daughter became her compass in developing and driving her passions.
Trudy career at Parents Helping Parents, spans 26 years as full-time as a Director developing programs to better serve families in the Greater Bay Area; Concurrently, Trudy has 10 years of experience as the director of a parent-directed supported living agency and founded and developed The BFF Project. Actively involved in The Learning Community, Trudy is a Certified Person Centered Thinking (PCT) Trainer and utilizes the PCT tools in all aspects of her career and life.
Trudy develops and conducts dozens of workshops on disability related topics that include public benefits, parent-professional collaboration, and how to start a supported living agency.
