Biography

Lisa has been a strong advocate in supporting individuals with disabilities using person-centered approaches for over 40 years. She has varied experience, having worked in both public and private settings that provide supports in home, community, residential, and acute inpatient settings. Lisa lives in Eastern North Carolina and has been a person-centered thinking trainer for over 20 years. She has spent a good portion of her work life implementing person centered practices and processes as a foundation of quality outcomes for a large state facility as well as providing training for many individuals across the Eastern portion of the state. Lisa strives to help training participants understand the importance of utilizing person-centered skills in planning for others while making the training fun and applicable in everyday life.
