Biography
Melanie Bazile is a Person-Centered Thinking (PCT) trainer and organizational leader with more than 30 years of experience supporting people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and the organizations that serve them. Her primary focus is on adults receiving community-based services, including Supported Living Services (SLS), Independent Living Services (ILS), and Coordinated Family Supports (CFS), with additional experience in residential settings.
Melanie specializes in helping organizations embed person-centered practices into culture, systems, leadership, and daily operations. She has extensive experience supporting PCT implementation in larger service organizations, aligning policies, supervision, quality assurance, strategic planning, and service delivery with person-centered values. Melanie is also the host of the Side of Hope podcast and lead consultant for Compass Solutions.
As a cancer thriver and family member of a person with lived autism experience, Melanie brings both professional and personal experience using PCT tools to support meaningful decision-making, partnership, and collaboration. She is also proficient in American Sign Language (ASL) and brings awareness of Deaf culture to her work.
