I started my career working with individuals with persistent and serious mental illness and since have developed broad experience supporting individuals with other disabilities and the elderly. In my current role in the Office of Community Living (OCL), I administer a state-wide program that assists individuals to transition from institutional settings into community-based living situations. In this capacity, I have provided training on utilization of PCP skills to support individuals with various disabilities and the elderly. I am also currently involved with a technical assistance cohort between OCL and the National Center on Advancing Person-Centered Practices and Systems (NCAPPS) to promote self-determination and supported decision-making practices across long-term support services.
