Philip Shaer

Philip Shaer is a Program Specialist working at The Arc Washington County’s Daybreak Day Program. His work supporting people with developmental disabilities has spanned twenty-five years with his roots in direct support branching into residential, employment and day program management, and self-directed service support brokerage. He has earned BA Fine Arts and MAT in Teaching- Art and has worked as a teacher in Washington County Public Schools. Philip enjoys painting, writing (soon to self-publish his first book,) playing guitar and supporting his local church is community outreach and fellowship. Philip and his wife and children live in Hagerstown, Maryland.
