Community Awards

The TLCPCP Community Award is a way to recognize and share appreciation for those who have made notable contributions to our work and our community over time. There are no categories for this award. Rather, each is unique to the person. Most importantly, it serves as an invitation to each awardee to pay the honor forward and recognize in their acceptance the people who made their work possible. We ask that awardees think beyond mentors and supervisors to include other relationships that taught them about the importance of person-centeredness and its place in the disability rights movement.

Awards may be given at any TLCPCP produced gathering and are determined by the agenda committee for a given event.
