Carol Shilloy Bates is a Community Relations Representative for Amerigroup Georgia Families 360° and part of the Education and Training team assigned to the North Region and supporting Region 1-3. She is a dedicated leader, offering an extensive background in all aspects of leadership, marketing, training, quality assurance, data analysis and community outreach and engagement. Shilloy has significant knowledge of the Georgia child welfare system, juvenile justice system, and foster care programs and populations. She holds numerous training certifications in evidence-based models and enjoys training stakeholders, caregivers, and internal staff.
Selected Accomplishments:
- Developed innovative, training curriculum and coaching tools for the implementation of Wraparound Georgia
- Trained over 1,000 mental health providers in Georgia in the implementation of Wraparound
- Trained hundreds of mental health providers in the (TIP)Core Practices and Transition Domains
- Oversight of outcomes, reports and budgets for various DBHDD/SAMSAH
- Certified Trainer and Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Transition Age Youth (TIP) Transition to Independence Process, Certified Peer Support Parent
- Wraparound Trainer in Georgia providing training and coaching for various CME, DBDD, DJJ, Family Support Organizations, Amerigroup and DFCS staff in Wraparound implementation, and person-centered training.
