Biography

Deanna Wollman, I have resided in Aberdeen, SD most of my life.  I attended Sioux Falls College and Augustana College, with a fine arts degree in education (elementary education and special education.  I completed a Governor’s Leadership Program, with a partial master’s degree in administration from USD in Vermillion.  I have been a Person-Centered Thinking Training (PCT) since 2010, along with being a PCT Coach, along with being a trainer to future PCT Coaches.  I have gone through the Charting the Life Course series a couple of times to be an ambassador for and with Charting the Life Course.

Blessed to be a family member supporting a brother and a mother, who receives services within his community and family (Community Support Provider, Case Management and Nursing Home care and therapy).

I currently work at the South Dakota Developmental Center, with a mission:  The mission of the South Dakota Developmental Center (SDDC) is to provide comprehensive specialized services designed to enhance quality of life and community inclusion for people with Intellectual Disabilities and/or Developmental Disabilities. 

On a personal note, I am married, have 3 wonderful adult children and a very LARGE dog, named Sarge, he is a Saint Shepherd, who loves me dearly.
