Leah Saitz

I have worked in service to people with Developmental Disabilities for around 40 years, both directly and behind the scenes.  I have been a Person Centered Trainer with The Learning Community for several years, and have trained service providers, service coordinators, people served, co-workers, families, and community members.   I have helped to facilitate communities of practice at my work place for service providers and for supervisors.  I am certified in California as a Self-Determination Independent Facilitator, and am also trained to do Liberty / PATH plans.  I consider person centered planning to be a way of life.  I believe that differences make us stronger and that everyone deserves a shot at what will make them happy. My current role at the Regional Center of Orange County is that of Person Centered Thinking Coordinator.  It is my pleasure to lead a team of 11 PCT trainers.
