Heather Daily

Heather has over 20 years of experience in the IDD field with a range of experiences. She has worked as a DSP in both day and residential settings, and was a Support Coordination Supervisor over North West Georgia for a large portion of her career. Heather was the Executive Director of an IDD program in GA where she led her team through the transition from paper to paperless while simultaneously transforming the organization into Person Centered Organization with the support of Bob Sattler. Heather is a nationally recognized Person Centered Thinking Trainer and has done work as a Coaches Trainer with support coordinators in Georgia. Heather is also a Charting the Life Course Ambassador and Coach through UMKC.
Heather is currently a Business Development Associate at Therap where she works as a subject matter expert in Person Centered Practices. Among other things, in this role Heather is working with Ishya Dotson to ensure that Therap carries out its mission of Person Centered Data Driven. Together Heather and Ishya provide training to Therap employees, providers, provider organizations, states and more on a variety of topics related to Person Centered Practices. Heather’s primary passion is implementing person centered principles across all levels of organizations and systems.
Heather is the current Treasurer and a Past Chair/Advisor of the Georgia Learning Community for Person Centered Practices, and sits as the Vice Chair for the Georgia Department Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities Advisory Council. These roles give her an opportunity to advocate and continue to push person centered practices forward as well as to keep learning and growing.
Heather has an BS in Psychology, BA in sociology from the University of Georgia, and an MPA in Nonprofit Management from Kennesaw State University.
